IEEE Authorship Workshops in India

IEEE periodically hosts authorship workshops in India focused on how to publish a technical paper with IEEE. Recently, in September 2019, IEEE hosted a series of Authorship workshops in Bangalore, Delhi, and Noida, India attended by hundreds of engineering students eager to learn about the publishing process. IEEE is proud to have published over 174,000 journal articles and conference papers in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library from a broad range of universities, research institutes, and government departments in India.

The growth in published research from India has increased dramatically in recent years:


In 2020, the number of articles published by authors in India is 174,129, up from 19,360 in 2008.


From 2009 to 2019, a total of 150,019 articles were published in IEEE Xplore by authors from India, representing an increase of over 500% in the number of published articles in IEEE Xplore by authors from India over the past 10 years.
